Crazy Upside-down Chocolate Cake


Sift togather the first 4 ingredients; Add butter, milk & vanilla. Beat 2 minutes and put in a greased 9 x 13 pan. The batter will be thin. Then mix together by hand the cocoa, sugar & hot water or coffee. Pour over cake dough in pan. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream.

Note: I've made this using half sugar and half Splenda and it works out just fine. The cake ends up with a fudgy layer on the bottom and a moist cake layer on top.
